    Pros

Organized Environment, Professional, Very good style and decor within offices. Great knowledge of music within the label. Felt very accepted as an employee.

    Cons

Fast paced environment. Not getting to meet many artists on the label. I had issues communicating with the CEO due to his busy schedule. Location of the offices.

    Pros

Great co-workers, some of the best minds in this business.

    Cons

Very negative culture/climate perpetuated by corporate executives. Poor communication about company's performance. Even positive wins are poked at in order to find the negatives. Like of creativity, leadership and innovation from the corporate executives - not best in class in any way.

    Advice to Management

Disband the board, recruit all new C-level leaders. Rest.

  3. Great learning experience that allowed me to network and learn more about the entertainment industry.

    Pros

Company values aligned with mine and the people were great to work with. Totally recommend working here in the future.

    Cons

Honestly all of the challenges of working here were healthy challenges and welcomed improvements. Though I do love a good challenge.

    Pros

I've had an incredible experience thus far. It is evident that WMG truly cares about their interns and wants them to learn and grow as much as possible. I've had the opportunity to meet a number of incredible people in the industry

    Cons

not sure how much full time potential there is

    Pros

Great learning opportunity. Hands on experience with a major label. I really liked my boss and everyone I met, I had a lot of responsibility and felt like I really made a difference.

    Cons

No money. That's a big one. Sometimes people play really loud music, but I can get over that. Overall it was mostly positive.

    Pros

Really fun atmosphere, people were willing to help and teach you what you didn't already know, work with really cool people and artists, exposure first hand to music industry, looks great on a resume

    Cons

Seems to be a high turnover rate with employees, internship program is going through transition, unpaid and must be enrolled full-time student and receiving college credit

    Pros

Exposure to interesting people and projects, mid-sized company, but small enough to make a difference, fun work environment (jeans and sneakers common-place).

    Cons

Tough industry to be in with digital music making revenue generating challenging to predict, bonus's generally more conservative than other larger companies

    Advice to Management

Seek more advice from lower-level staff as they generally would have a very interesting perspective on current operations and areas for improvement.
