Current Employee – been working at Time Warner full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Pros and cons all depend on department in which you work. Some departments are not thought of as highly in the organization while others seem to be the workhorses that get things done and are highly respected (though that doesn't mean more bonus).
Pretty good benefits though they have declined from a few years back when they were great.
Interesting work product and engaging environment. Actually believe that management knows what they are doing with respect to much of the organization as a whole.
As long as you don't suck at your job, you can have a very long career here.
Cons – As long as you don't suck, you can have a very long career here. Some managers have no business being in the positions that they are in and are doing a disservice to those who report to them.
It can be moderately difficult to move between departments and generally it is quite difficult to move within divisions given how much each division is steeped in its own culture. Unless you work for Corporate, you work for Turner, HBO, Time Inc, WB, not Time Warner.
People aren't necessarily promoted when they are ready to serve in the next higher role and have demonstrated that they can. Generally speaking promotions only happen once a year no matter what has changed.
Advice to Senior Management – The walls between each division need to be broken down. Each division does not operate in its own little fiefdom anymore and that culture needs to be broken because it makes them feel like you are attacking them when you're looking for information because you are Corporate and they are XYZ.
Promote people when they're ready. Shouldn't matter if it happens in March or November instead of only in February regardless of changing responsibilities.

Current Employee – been working at Time Warner full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – Benefits witch are slowly declining.
Cons – Benefits where better when I started at company. As with most companies the employees are paying more towards their benefits, when I started at TW all my benefits where paid for and now I contribute about 10% and each year and it keeps increasing.
Advice to Senior Management – Take a long hard look on how you handle outsourcing, I have noticed over the years that more jobs are being outsourced, it helps the bottom line but hurts the economy. There are to many employees in India and the company has been downsizing.

Former Employee – worked at Time Warner full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – The employees are great to work with. There is diversity.
Cons – Upper management on some teams should not be there. They are for self preservation, and not allowing for growth of the department unless it can be seened as his/her idea. Cut throat if you're not part of the "clique."
Advice to Senior Management – There should be an employee evaluation of management done regularly. And these evaluations should be acted upon in order to maintain the best team for the company.
