    Pros

    I can't think of any.

    Cons

Atmosphere, cluster managers, difficult situation facilities - no colour printers, use citrix for all systems, cant even save a word file onto the PC's

    Advice to Management

Take a look at how many staff members have left the Chesterfield cluster in the last 2 years. We counted 30. Senior management here are bullying staff into leaving if the face does not fit

  2. Very pleasant, hard work, long hours

    Pros

The company is in a transformation stage and definitely on the right track. New senior management have defined a vision for the future and are committed to delivering it.

    Cons

Business units tend to work in silos and frequently display "sibling rivalry' traits. There is a constant power battle at middle and senior management levels.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the concerns of your people. They genuinely want to embark on this journey with you but need to feel they are part of the team.

    Pros

Co-workers all worked hard with limited systems and high caseloads

    Cons

Manager at the time was awful, belittled people and divulged supposedly confidential discussions

    Advice to Management

Trust your grass roots staff; you hired them to do a job; let them do it.

    Lose the ridiculous PROUD mantra

Very friendly atmosphere and the overseas team are amazing. Great opportunities to work in different places around the world and be part of a great team who work hard and play hard.

    Cons

Quite difficult to work in a destination you want to even if your score well on their monthly points system

    Advice to Management

    Pros

If you are lucky you will have a great cluster manager like mine, if not there are no other pros

    Cons

    Extremely bad salaries
You never get appreciated for what you do for the company
Aiming for the future but taking 1 step forward and 5 steps back
Believes that hassling customers with a barrage of phone calls is good customer service
Sacks people if they get another job, even if its part time
Sexist, unfair and just a horrible place to work, where you will have no future and try your best for a below basic wage.

    Advice to Management

Sort yourselves out and start looking after your staff instead of the fat cats at the top.

    Pros

Some decent colleagues even though we are now fighting more over bookings. You learn something new everyday in the travel industry.

    Cons

Minimum wage and bad cluster managers who have no time in their schedule to care about staff and their problems as they have too much hassle from higher up themselves. Our cluster is now on a third of the staff as this time last year and they expect us to do more which is impossible and standards are slipping as we get customers through the door on a conveyor belt system. Aside from that BAD technology. Yes you heard that Harriet. No one likes the res systems except your yes men. Too much information for staff to learn on a daily basis including changing policies and old out of date information everywhere. Promises not honoured and you are asked to be abnormally flexible with your working hours and holidays. Rotas drawn up in India plus a hr team there.... Does that help? No.

    Advice to Management

Have you got a year? Too much to write here.
