    Good paying company for mexico city, and great balance life/work balance. The culture is friendly. the offices are nice.

    limited professional growth, the leadership does not have a clear strategy, and the company does not spend any money in employee training

    Great work environment and great people. The pay and rewards are more than average for equivalent roles at other companies.

    Advancing in this business can be tough if one is not well connected within the business.

    Take the time to get to know and develop the people who show a strong potential and a true desire to succeed and grow within your business. My experience with Telefonica has been that some people do not progress due to their own bosses not supporting their career progression.

    Pros

    As a contractor, I felt like part of the team. Company went well beyond normal support allowing work from home. No training required. Company values employee engagement first.

    Cons

    I would have liked to have stayed and worked on other projects.

    Set career paths and development plans. Most people seemed to stay exactly where they were three years after I joined. There are allot of yes men.

    I have been working at Telefónica as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

    For starters the salary is better than most of the Spanish companies and your job is very stable. The company works with the newest technologies so get know all the new products.

    Cons

    Most of the employees have been working in the company for more than 10 years, their salaries are very high and they have become lazy because they feel than the company won't fire them. New employees find difficult to start in the company because they don't find any help from their more experiences colleagues

    Put more pressure on the more experienced employees and make sure that new employees have a proper introduction in the company.

    Big name in the CV working in big projects with the chance to meet big companies as customers

    Cons

    Really bad working environment
    Every one needs to approve everything, so little space for improvisation even though they ask to "think out of the box"
    HR treats you as you were a terrorist, always undervaluing your capacities

    Had some good people there but they came from good old BT
    reasonable salary
    Good if you re a talented job Jockey
    Good place to rest (short) while working out where you think your career needs to go

    Cons

    Not good at Team work
    Individual senior managers far too focussed on their own personal branding
    Lack of customer focus
    Very poor delivery
