Pros – The good stuff - a very agile environment, with down to earth people looking for the next spurt of growth so you can grow with the company. Top of the class products and forward thinking - Spotfire is a great win for TIBCO.
Cons – The bad stuffCan feel like a fragmeneted organisation and not meritocratic - bonus pool i smainly retained by senior management and the employees get a very small bonus.
Sales strategy - focus on existing accounts...now new pipeline despite hiring hunters...very strange?
Very lean back office who are th hardest working lot in TIBCO.
Advice to Senior Management – Now the Ugly - Pull your socks up and start thinking about your workforce and not just yourself. There is either too much fragmented process or too little of it - find the middle ground please an reward your staff as they are getting very disillusioned.

Pros – Lots of room to grow if you work hard and position yourself correctly in the organization. Traditionally the field organization has solved very complex problems. There is a history of outcompeting larger companies such as IBM and Oracle through hard work and intense customer focus.
Cons – Increasing bureaucracy. Political atmosphere. Lack of mentorship or clear career path. For field organization work/life balance is nonexistent.
Advice to Senior Management – Focus on clients. TIBCO is fundamentally a software company. The focus should be on making software work for our clients. TIBCO is at its best when client driven.

Pros – Good work culture and really talented people work here.
Its good to work in a really dynamic enviornment with really smart people here.
Cons – Pay is comparatively less here. I was expecting to have good raise in salary. But I ended up getting less. So salary is the one thing one should consider before making Tibco as a long term career choice.
Advice to Senior Management – Pay attention to the employees.

Pros – They will probably be out of business in 5 years
Cons – they will strand many customers who invested in the infrastructure that grew outdated and obsolete
Advice to Senior Management – Hire good laywers because your middle management is violating every law in the book

Pros – Has a nice mid to start up feel and everyone works well together.
Cons – Large turn over due to politics in the offices. Salaries need to be revisited and moved up for A and B employees.
Advice to Senior Management – Get more involved with the day to day aspects so that you can make better informed decisions.

Pros – Flexible Working hour
Lot of work
Good productsand training material available to learn from.
Onsite Opportunities for 3-6 weeks (Best Onsite experience)
Cons – No particular yearly goals decided
Manager is everything (HR /MENTOR/ God father) you can't pass him to the next level
Don't see people staying in company after a certain years of experience (4-6)
No Architects or Principal Engg only SMTS is the highest level given to indian developers next is technical manager
Lot of recruitment - but only in quantity and not in quality.
Advice to Senior Management – Try to keep talent , as you can get better output from them rather than bringing new people and training them from next 6 months.
