    Pros

Gives you immense opportunities to work and gain expertise in your domain.

Syntel has recently started looking after its employees. HR policies are being brought up to match the market.

With new top management, things are looking better than previous years.

    Cons

No work ethics when it comes to project work. You'll have to slog on most occasions.

Salary pay is amongst the lowest in the market.

Bad resource allocation and talent recognition. You'll easily feel how Syntel follows "Praise the average" concept.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to invigorate zeal for market competition. Well looked-after employees can be big assets in long run.

    Pros

Great health benefits. I could work from home sometime. I did meet a few new people that were nice. That's all.

    Cons

Corrupt. Dishonest. Unreliable. Stole from me... never repay relocation costs. System makes it almost impossible to turn in reimbursement. Called me to relocate to PHX yet did not have a job lined up for me. Scary.

I have been working at Syntel

    Pros

    Offers good salary to freshers

    Cons

You'll end up waiting for months and months before they decide to give you a joining date. If you get selected through campus recruitment, do not stop looking for alternate companies just because Syntel offers you a job. There are thousands of freshers still waiting for their joining for the past 6-9 months already.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop hiring people if you don't have enough business to back it up.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
