ProsA broad range do opportunities exist, allowing you to grow and gain exposure to multiple areas of the business

ConsPolitical environment and challenges delivering or committing to a long term plan. Lots of knee jerk reactions by management that create a tense experience.

Not a bad place but managers can be very difficult to work with.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsTuition reimbursement, discount banking, decent health care, onsite doctor, productive mobility, and great work life balance.

ConsOut of touch managers. They don't know what all of their employees do. Some are close minded and closed ears and just out right dont listen. You have to pay for parking up to $145 a month. Years behind on technology. Stipping people of the tools needed to do your everyday job.

Advice to Senior ManagementIf you want to follow the big banks act like one. Let all in on the new tools and technology.

SunTrust was like home, family, a great place to work at. I would love to return back.

Bank Operations Analyst (Former Employee) Richmond, VA (US)

ProsI enjoyed my experience there and was trained pretty well in the various departments I worked in. Great benefits, great people and did not mind going to work every day.

ConsWas quite challenging when you're told that new things are coming, more to learn but yet it never came around if you were one to want to stay in a department.

Advice to Senior ManagementI have dealt with professional management most of my years at SunTrust, I cannot say with my last few years when the manager lets his team literally get up and go at anytime secretly over and over again.
