    Pros

Got lots of hours. Free Sub every 4 hour shift. Great people to work with. Always was able to get good hours.

    Cons

Can be long hours - you stand for 6 hours straight putting veggies on a sub. Lunch lines get brutal and last hours so you are basically doing the same thing for that amount of time.

    Advice to Management

Management was mean. They fire people for no reason. My manager was always getting long-term employees to spy on new ones and report back on how fast they make subs.

    Pros

Better than nothing. Can work with fun people, etc.

    Cons

Subway is a franchise so you are often subject to different demands and standards depending on the owner.

    Advice to Management

Consider growth opportunities for sandwich artists beyond buying their own franchise.

    Pros

Hours were flexible, at least before the schedule is made.
The training is fairly thorough and the senior staff are fairly helpful.
    You get free food.

    Cons

No one is ever willing to cover your shifts so remember to book time off well in advance.
Closing the store is a horrible experience
Most of the people working there couldn't care less. Worst case scenario you end up working with someone who doesn't care and is incompetent (yeah some people can't even handle a job at subway. What a sad world)
You're going to want to kill yourself after working a 10 hour shift.

    Advice to Management

There has to be more consistency. One manager will tell you one way to do it. Another manager will tell you a different way to do it. Both managers will get mad at you for doing it the "wrong" way. You end up having to keep track of who you're working with in order to work "properly".

  10. Probably one of the best fast food jobs.

    Pros

Good management, very nice co-workers. Healthier food than competition.

    Cons

Low pay, but is to be expected with this type of work.

    Advice to Management

Keep your employees happy and your food healthy and you'll have continued success.

    I worked at Subway

    Pros

    Nothing to complicated
You'll do fine as long as you know what you're doing

    Cons

Sometimes there's only 1 person working, which is yourself. And you have to take care of everything. Even in rush hour

    Advice to Management

Don't be cheap and hire more than 1 person to work in rush hour
