    Pros

Good company with Great Pay and Benefits.

    Cons

Too much division in organizational sites and not enough oversight in middle management.

    Advice to Management

Except for Senior Management. All levels of management should be evaluated to keep performance at the highest levels. Especially Middle management

    Pros

Good company to work for; benefits are generous; workmates are fun and caring.

    Cons

Going through tough times right now, but these changes are necessary to get to a better place. Changes should have happened years ago; now, it's all happening at once and it's a bit scary for the employees.

    Advice to Management

Show some empathy (and don't lose it) for your employees. Put yourselves in our shoes in how we feel going through all these major changes. You'll learn a lot about the downstream affects of the decisions being made, necessary though they may be. Our emotions are very much tied to and invested in our company.

    Pros

Great people. Interesting work and work life balance is definitely there.

    Cons

Commute from anywhere to Rosemead is hectic but what can you do?

    Advice to Management

Listen to the employees a bit more. Less meetings of course. Constant stream of meetings.

    Pros

    Good benefits and challenging work

    Cons

"old boy" network clearly in evidence, even with recent changes. Many protected by the setup for their incompetence as well as their actions. The company talks a good line about harrassment but does not act.

    Advice to Management

Wake up and smell the roses ... people don't care to be taken advantage of and your latest moves had many good people leave rather than stay under the new conditions.

    Pros

It's not often you find an employer that is willing to help you grow on the job. Who will lead you and help you become the best you can be for not just his company, but to motivate you to become a leader.

    Cons

Your experience or qualification doesn't count for your worth. They rather you put in years of being under paid before they decide to pay you what you are worth.

    Pros

Working for a utility is different than other industries and provides exposure to use of technology in unique ways

    Cons

Company is very political and leadership does not have a good handle on the skills possessed by employees. To get ahead it is who you know and not what you know

    Advice to Management

Need to get in touch with your staff members and understand their skill sets. Lots of talent has been lost and what is left is not being leveraged.
