    Strives to be a feel good company that has good base programs and cares for frontline staff

    Cons

    Management staff is not treated as well as frontline staff.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    DM's and VP's need training in ethics and integrity. Policies should not be subjecive to suit a power trip. More opportunities for promoting women. Great concepts but not actually being practiced in the units.

    I have been working at Sodexo USA

    Pros

    the people I work with are easy going and fun to work with. The managers are friendly and easy to talk to when you need. The duties stay pretty constant and the workload can vary from day to day.

    Cons

    Hard to get more then 15 hours a week if you are only part time. Sometimes the work can be very fast and demanding if you consider that a con, I personal do not consider that a con however.

    good benefits, good work schedule for food service with weekends and holidays off.

    Cons

    very little oversight of district manager. District Manager had no people skills and very little decision making ability. All direction from him was criticism of work with no direction as to how he wanted it done.

    provide better training to management, and do not promote people just because they have tenure.

    Pros

    Sodexo is a great place to work, offers a lot of opportunity for growth within the company. Pay is competitive with market industry. Work life balance is great at Sodexo.

    Personally I don't see many cons. Nothing is perfect, but considering other employment options, this is a great place to work.

    Great co-workers
    They chefs don't ask you of anything too difficult and are understanding during rush hour shifts.
    Good experience for fast environment, high volume

    Cons

    Very tedious
    Not a hard job so you can easily get bored or distracted
    Easy to find many contradictions around the work place

    The managers were helpful and professional. The whole management team was interested in its staff and willing to teach and help. The hospitality industry

    Cons

    Scheduling for hourly work was sporadic and the other hourly employees were not very motivated or helpful. This was very much a job where you made what you put into it.
