    Pros

If you can tolerate the B.S., then you might get a company vehicle, phone, 407 etc.

    Cons

Steris sees their employees as parts in a machine. After they squeeze every bit of work out of you, and you need stress leave, they will just fire you instead of honouring their employment contract with you. Be prepared to sue to get your due.

    Advice to Management

Get some ethics, a proper engineering department, and actually test your equipment designs before shipping them to customers.

    Pros

Good, enthusiastic associates who are experienced at solution based sales process.

    Cons

Insulated senior management that has been a revolving door for last five years.

    Advice to Management

Listen to feedback rather than nodding and disregarding substance of message without diligence.

    Pros

Good field to work in, great customer base, good job in spite of company, several decent perks, pay is adequate, plenty of time off available in theory

    Cons

Ever-increasing stress primarily comes from company, not from job/customers, company constantly at cross purposes with actual job, constant bad decisions made by bean counters or other non-field workers, continually more irrelevant additional requirements given even though job itself has always been the same, never-ending grief from all levels of management and/or general bureaucracy for a myriad of perceived compliance failures, time off very difficult to actually take without hoops to jump through and major stress, understaffed, ever-changing and usually contradictory goals/rules/priorities

    Advice to Management

SIMPLIFY, back off, provide real incentives, find out what job actually is in the field, be realistic, get out of bed with the government, and make products that sales and techs can be proud to present and service.

    Pros

Excellent Work-Life Balance with great hours

    Cons

Very old fashioned organization with males in all key roles. Good old boy system with executives choosing their successors decades in advance of their retirement. Selections are relationship based versus performance based. Poor performing employees are kept around.

    Advice to Management

Challenge your workers. Diversify your executive team. Top-grade poor performers.

    Pros

Used to be a good company

    Cons

They say one thing, and do another
    Promises, promises, promises
Management uses employees to further their ambitions, not the employees

    Advice to Management

Trust your tenured employees, not the "new" ones that KNOW you will believe therm even when they doctor documents

    Pros

Friendly and encouraging employees and direct supervisors. Opportunity to learn a variety of tasks, keeping the job challenging but not overwhelming. Criticism is given in a constructive manner, and advancement in the company is encouraged.

    Cons

Policies aren't ideal, ability to advance in the company is limited, and the upper management is disconnected (overly busy and stressed).

    Advice to Management

Consider revising your training policies (lots of repeat training happens) as well as your temp agency policy (hiring directly could save you money while compensating the employees better).

    Cons

Misleading and wrongly advertised job opportunities. Poor management with lack of care about employees. Company all together is heading in a bad direction.

    Advice to Management

Care more about your employees and get yourself together.
