    Pros

There is a relatively flexible work environment, but don't be dooped by recruitin. You're going to have to put in some major hours, especially at the onset. Additionally, the benefits and base pay are pretty good, but not industry leaders by any stretch of the imagination.

    Cons

I used to love this company. I was so proud to work here. Now I just feel completely disillusioned about the future. We made it to Fortunes top companies, but I bet it's just a flash in the pan. The company is only focused on revenue. Client satisfaction and leadership are going down the drain. The principal group is a joke. All they care about are selling new projects, not reviewing or teaching. The CEO is a hypocrit. He preaches that we should see clients at least every 6 months, but I'm on some of his active accounts he hasn't visited in years, and not for a lack of trying to get him there. There is a very strong do as I say and not as I do attitude among senior management. Staff is just cranking out projects to try and meet ridiculous benchmarks and screw ups are happening over and over. I don't expect I'll be here much longer, and I don't anticipate I'll work with Ryan after I leave.

    Advice to Management

Scratch it and start over. The model doesn't work anymore. The team structure doesn't work anymore. The old dogs sitting on clients and road blocking your bright, enthusiastic principals doesn't work anymore. The BD guys selling projects for the sake of selling (ie. Sales tax reviews for mall kiosks) doesn't work anymore

    Pros

Work-Life flexibility, two promotion cycles a year, community outreach, personal investment, professionalism, accredited with awards, a lot of opportunity to advance, bonus opportunities, recognition, high standards, opportunity to experience several different service lines of tax, excellent workplace culture

    Cons

lack of 401K matching, work tends to be unevenly distributed, benefits lacking, need more service personnel to assist the growth of the company, bottleneck is an issue, it takes a while to hire someone and even longer to fire someone

    Advice to Management

Allow your teams to speak with clients on a more regular basis, invest in your people knowledge and face-time wise

    Pros

MyRyan - you can work anywhere

    Cons

In order to reach income goals you will need to work almost all the time. There really is no work to life balance at this company. The higher you go up the chain of management, the more work you need to put in as your base is incredibly low. Your commissions can be quite lucrative if you get on the right teams and are able to support yourself on the very low base salary while awaiting for payouts that can sometimes take 3 or more years to come.

    Pros

Company has structured policies and processes, promotes CEs.

    Cons

Be wary. Not the best place to work . Professional growth is in a "controlled environment". Award winning company's are not all that!

    Pros

Flexible work environment. As long as you get your work done, you can pretty much work from wherever / whenever is best for you.

    Cons

Bonus Structure, Per Diem, hours required for continued education

    Advice to Management

Attempts to hit the benchmarks for "Best Places to Work" are superficial. Leads to unnecessary requirements that are non-beneficial.
