The best place I've worked yet!

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Rensselaer, NY (US)

ProsYoung, energetic atmosphere. They truly believe if that treat the workers well, they'll do a great job. Open to suggestions and innovation; truly an organization that will continue to improve as it ages.

ConsIt is a bio-pharma company; you work with some hazardous chemicals. The company provides all the safe-guards they can, but ultimately it is the responsibility of the worker to be careful.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep doing what you're doing!

A nice place to work, long term? we will see.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

Prosdecent pay, good starting time off and nice people. Building is very clean and employees are usually treated very respectfully.

Consgrowing fast with rapidly changing rules and procedures. This can be frustrating and is usually overkill and senseless.

Advice to Senior ManagementIncrease employee pay to maintain the high quality of the Regeneron team and decrease the potential of employee turnover in the future.

Good place to start your career but if you're not a "favorite" your career stalls and any skills you had deteriorate.

Research Associate III (Current Employee) Tarrytown, NY (US)

    Pros- Interesting science being done.
    - A lot of good people who want to work together.
    - Good growth over the last few years (exciting).

Cons- If you don't have a PhD you tend to be treated as a pair of hands.
    - Career growth is non-existent at a RA. Don't believe what they tell you.
    - Lack of communication between groups causes bottlenecks and tension. Sometimes its hard to get things done.
    - Projects seem to have no plan. Work on something until it's no longer interesting.

Advice to Senior ManagementListen to everybody in the company. Your lower, middle and some higher level managers are just telling you what you want to hear.
