    Pros

Good rates, great product selection, gets loans done fast and on-time.

    Cons

You basically hang your license there and you're on your own. No culture or leadership. Marketing support is terrible and doesn't have marketing degrees. They typically acquire already existing mortgage brokers and change the name. That's about all the interaction you get with the company other than a once per year manager's meeting, but if you want to be out on an island left alone this is the place.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Revamp marketing department with more qualified people and work on developing culture like a mortgage bank rather than a real estate firm where you just hang your license. Quit referring to Loan Officers as agents would be a good start.

    Pros

Employee recognition via free food. Main Office of is immaculate and impressive.

    Cons

Inflexible, demanding and rigid directors, managers and executives funnels up to very frugal CFO who does not reward employees with annual pay increase for good performance.

Unclear guidelines from direct supervisors as to expectations; 3:1 female to male ratio; Loan Agents are tough to support, as they are a unique and untrustworthy breed in the U.S. workforce.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If the company wants to really grow like they keep expressing, they need to increase internal promotions and transfers, instead of comfortably relying on referrals, nepotism or paying a staffing agency to hire to help fill a vacant role.

Auto annual pay increase should be based on performance,; which is fair and logical staffing standpoint to better retain talent.

    Pros

    Company does everything first class

    Cons

Company leadership lives in a bubble of exclusivity. Focus is entirely on the "Luxury Home Buyer" The idea of huge loan amounts is alluring but what about the common people just trying to buy a home to raise their family? There appears to be zero interest in anything but the super jumbo market.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Come down a couple of steps from your lofty ladder and take a look at the real world.

    Pros

Great people. Most have been there a really long time.

    Cons

Work environment is distracting as there are no cube walls. Everything is open. Little room for advancement as management has been there for a long time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More training for employees would be nice. Little training is offered. Felt like I was thrown in the deep end and told to swim.

    Pros

Company culture and energy is wonderful. Enjoy working with everyone here. It is clear RPM hires and retains the best employees in the industry. The team effort and employee dedication to the company is admirable.

    Cons
