    I worked at RGIS

    Pros

None, except maybe for somewhat flexible schedule for students.

    Cons

pay is a joke, management is a joke, job is a joke. I am not sure why anyone in the right mind would do this job, unless they are really desperate.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management there is pathetic as it mostly consists of college dropouts with skewed sense of self worth.

I worked at RGIS part-time for less than a year

    Pros

-3 hour pay minimum (if your shift is under 3 hours, you get paid for 3)
    -Some kind hearted employees
    -Easy work

    Cons

-Obscure hours (early mornings, late nights, long days)
-Often only 1 break is allowed
-Favouritism in the company between managers and employees
    -Repetitive
-Impersonal (much communication is done through email)
    -Rude management
-Competitive employees rather than team work
    -Difficult to find working equipment

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Provide employees with the opportunity to voice their opinions without repercussions. Provide better training for new employees. Ensure schedules are balanced.

    RGIS Inventory Takers - Toronto,canada

Current Employee - Inventory Auditor  in  Toronto, ON

I have been working at RGIS part-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Flexible schedules. Different work locations every day.

    Cons

Less hours if your availability time is morning shift. No specific work hours every week.
They can always cancel your scheduled shift without givimg any other work schedule.
Not a good job for those people looking for a full time job. Some area managers have favoritism with his/her team members.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't just base the APH of an auditor with the salary increase you give. There are some auditors that work hard and get those hard areas to count. While some "Top guns" get those easy to count areas wherein they can achieve higher APH.

  10.

I worked at RGIS full-time for less than a year

    Pros

They offered paid training. They offered transportation to job sites. The interview process was painless and smooth.

    Cons

They did not offer paid time in order to use their transportation to and from job sites, often times this was hours before the job started, and hours after. Promotions at RGIS seemed to be based on favoritism and not actual work ethic and responsibility. There seemed to be many supervisors with very little actual supervision. They lack organization.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Manage. Try to understand that your employees are your greatest asset and reward accordingly. This isn't summer camp, this is a business.

Former Employee - Inventory Taker in Stockbridge, GA (US)

I worked at RGIS part-time for less than a year

    Pros

The people you meet are all cool. Management is okay, they were once in your place so they kind of have a feel for what you do. Most work is done through the middle of the night and early morning.

    Cons

No personal growth or proper training, the job might be easy and yes you learn on the job but pay is based on how fast you count. If you're going to a store that's far away you have to deal with somebody else' driving. They pay you enough to gas in your car to get to the next store to do inventory. Also they expect you to pull heavy merchandise, count it, then put it back...yet pay is based off how fast you count, -_-. There are multiple supervisors and they all have different ways of counting.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If the store is 30 minutes or more from the office provide transportation!!!!
