Former Employee – worked at PwC full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – Good benefits, overall compensation is good, if a bit lower than market.
Cons – Disorganized like other big firms, lack of clear leadership, management changes their direction frequently. Don't get stuck in the firm for a long time the small annual bonuses don't align with the market.
Advice to Senior Management – Take the time to cure the 'Shoemakers children' problem. If you could listen and implement the kind of advice give to clients, the firm would have tens of millions less costs.

Cons – The hours are really long sometimes, somehow technology is always an issue which isn't right for a large accounting firm.
Advice to Senior Management – Completely redo the IT system, and listen to your employee's feedback.

Former Employee – worked at PwC full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – You need experience at a public firm in order to get your CA and make a ton of friends in the process. PwC people seem to be more social and "fun" than other big firms (at least in this city).
Cons – Huge workload and lots of (unpaid) overtime. Can be extremely stressful at times, but I guess that's the price you pay for attaining a CA.
