Former Employee – worked at PepsiCo full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Excellent opportunity to learn and know different business operations. The Company in general is so interested in employees well being. Challenging.
Cons – I think that for women is still difficult to get promotions or a raise for the same work as male colleagues do.
Low compensation compared with the market.
The company likes to laid off people every year for savings instead of exploring other options, in the other hand they hire so much people using outsourcing companies.

Former Employee – worked at PepsiCo full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Working as R&D scientist, you are guaranteed to never be bored, there is always more things to do, than time allows, always busy. This is good for people that enjoys highly dynamic environment. It takes certain personality to fit in.
The company is also very young spirited, entrepreneurial, and innovative
Cons – The downside is it's a highly political company. Who you knows matters, visibility of project matters. You won't move up the ladder just by doing a good job, truly needs to network and push for highly visible projects.

Pros – Diverse product line, many employees friendly and knowledgeable
Cons – Uncomfortable relationship between the PepsiCo workers and Contractors
Advice to Senior Management – Find opportunities to share projects between business units - everyone does their own thing and knows little of what others are working on within the company.

Current Employee – been working at PepsiCo full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Great place to learn about a complex multinational matrix organized organization.
Great number of opportunities if you go after them yourself.
Passionate people and opportunity to build a really strong network.
Really inspirational & strong CEO, Indra Nooyi
Cons – Link with society, a fast mover which manufactures fun for you products, meaning products that contribute to a unhealthy lifestyle. Even while the portfolio slowely moves to a more healthy for you category, its core is still processed foods and beverages.
Very layered and lots of people only partly accountable.
Work environment, not inspirational.

Pros – Brilliant colleagues, opportunities to grow abound, and driven culture. It's a great place to learn the CPG world. Fantastic benefits.
Cons – Politics sometimes interfere with efficiency, hard to grow quickly in R&D, lagging behind other CPGs in terms of innovation and technology.
Advice to Senior Management – Include your direct reports in the conversation. They'll appreciate being kept in the loop from a top down approach.
