I worked at Paycom Payroll
Pros – Can make great money
Healthy company
Can advance quickly if you're given the opportunity
Cons – Horrible management: inexperienced, unable to make own decisions, obvious favoritism, treated reps like children!
Highly structured schedule, no freedom whatsoever to run your own day
Hours and hours of required telemarketing burned territories
Advice to Senior Management – Why not make experience a requirement when making a decision to let someone run an office

Pros – Coworkers are fabulous, friendly, and helpful. Lunches are offered on site. Discounts are available for many services.
Cons – Poor management skills, lack of management training. Lacking effective communication from managers on expectations for job performance. Lack of feedback offered from management for a job well done or a job done poorly.
Advice to Senior Management – Make sure you fully understand what you want from a candidate before hiring them. Train those who will be in charge of others how to effectively train, support, and communicate with their staff. It is very disappointing as an employee to feel as if you are doing everything well and then find out that your manager had other expectations and you were in fact, performing poorly.

I have been working at Paycom Payroll
Pros – I have been able to accomplish so much more here than I ever thought I could in all my years working. Paycom continues to grow my business knowledge and create new opportunities for me to get excited about! The management truly cares about my growth as an overall business person, not just about numbers I can produce.
Cons – At Paycom, you will work hard but rest assured you will be VERY well rewarded for your efforts! It is not an 8:00-5:00 job but no job worth doing ever is. And as always, sales is never an easy job.

I worked at Paycom Payroll
Pros – Great training. I had formal training when I started, got to shadow reps in the field, and my manager went with me on lots of calls. They fly all "Executive Reps" to Dallas for training 4 times per year. A former regional manager and the VP of Sales run the trainigs and they are very interactive and high energy.
Comp plan is really awesome. My base went up $20k after I'd been there around 2 years and sold a certain amount. Several of the people I worked with earned over $100k in their 2nd year out of college, and a couple earned over $200k!
Great people. Managers and co-workers are very passionate about their jobs. When you sell a big deal, all of your team-mates will send congrats emails and make you feel great about your accomplishment.
Cons – The sales-rep job is only for people who are career oriented and want to compete and grow. If you're just looking for a job, and want to put in your "40 hours per week", this isn't the position for you.
Advice to Senior Management – It would be great if there were more administrative or other non-sales positions at the local offices. Paycom is great but Sales wasn't for me.

I have been working at Paycom Payroll
Pros – We have an incredible system, a wonderful customer service team to back us up, we get paid very well, and as far as advancement opportunities, the sky is the limit as long as you are willing to work hard. Everyone here is energetic, hungry, and motivated to do their best which makes the office atmosphere a lot of fun. I've been very thankful for the opportunity to work here.
Cons – If you are not interested in learning and improving constantly then you might look elsewhere. Status quo is not accepted at Paycom.

I have been working at Paycom Payroll
Pros – This is a career not a job. If you have goals and a vision for something greater, Paycom is the place you want to work. The work is challenging yet fullfilling in every way. Not only are you rewarded monetarily for what your produce, but the recognition and praise your receive from peers and superiors, makes you feel like an imporant part of a team. I have achieved almost all my goals while at Paycom, and the ones that have not been hit, are only because I raised my goals to greater heights. Again, this is a career, not a job.
Cons – Paycom is a fast paced producing enviroment and if you are looking for something a little slower this may not be the job for you.
