    IT Manager (Current Employee) Walnut Creek, CA (US)

    ConsLost its way.....now we're living the result.

    Advice to Senior ManagementDo something else.

    Nice People, learned a lot

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

    ProsBoth management and staff very friendly, good work/life balance, good health care. Regular All Hands meetings are enjoyable and motivate you to help grow the business. Free donut Fridays are great too!

    ConsPay is a bit lower than similar Bay Area companies. There can be too much politics, especially at the vice president level.

    Advice to Senior ManagementListen more to your employees! Many high level decisions about the future of the business are made at the VP/SVP level without input from lower level employees.

    Great people, and a dynamic place to work

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) Walnut Creek, CA (US)

    ProsGreat employees, good pay, awesome vacation package (4 weeks at the door), work life balance.
    They encourage transfers between departments for professional growth.

    ConsIt's a boys' club, men are preferred for promotions over women.

    Advice to Senior ManagementCompany is in run off, so I don't think it matters.

    ProsGreat people
    Challenging projects
    Great benefits and pay
    Good communication from senior management

    It's not what you know, but who you know

    Program Manager (Former Employee) Walnut Creek, CA (US)

    Pros* People (the pee-ons) are generally nice
    * Decent benefits

    Cons* No innovation
    * Conservative
    * Lack of creativity
    * Workload is unmanageable due to lazy Directors that lacks leadership skills
    * Lack of autonomy and trust; management rather hear recommendations from expensive consultants/vendors than own employees
    * Field sales driven rather than customer driven
    * Internal conflicts between management

    Advice to Senior ManagementInstead of laying off people that actually do the work, maybe the execs ought to get rid of some of the lazy sr. management and directors.

    Board of Directors should be ashamed of themselves for driving the company to the ground.

    No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
