    Pros

Overtorture Networks best suits this company name in India.GM India and HR listens your concerns and pretends as if they are resolving the issue, but they were bluffing RTP Management and young Indian engineers.

    Cons

Micro Management.Credits will be taken by Managers and lead and blame will be given to engineers.Really pathetic and PI(M)P Managers and Directors. Young Indian engineers don't spoil your career at just looking at salary and product based company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Wake up RTP Management and take appropriate action to correct the Indian management otherwise it will totally ruin the

    Pros

No single best reason to work here. No corporate culture. Unprofessional or Unethical environment. Every movement of yours is tracked & harassed in many different ways. Management wants to hear to you but doesn't want to take any ACTION. Full of promises, nothing in reality.

    Cons

Management doesn't want to embrace or understand employees views/ideas. No job security. You need to "butter" the management, for you to be in there good books. Not an ideal/appropriate place for sensitive people.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop playing with the careers of employees.... Hope the management @ RTP looks into this before the current management ruin the life's of budding young employees. The India management do not allow employees live their dreams.

I have been working at Overture Networks full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Good Salary
    Good benefits
    Timely updates on company strategy

    Cons

Management and leads in Bangalore, India are very misleading, and highly inept. They hardly do any work except doing meetings and pulling the legs of engineers. The work culture is very bureaucratic, very authoritative, lacks transparency. It is small company culture, people who have been part of big companies please stay away since you will find it very difficult to adjust to it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Wake up, become technically stronger do some homework. Get more involved with the work rather than call for futile meetings all the time.

    Pros

Some of the people. Very little else. As a restart-up, anything is possible.

    Cons

It is the consummate borg culture. A place to do, but not a place to think. A company undertaking slow, painful attempt to re-invent itself.

    Pros

There are a number of talented individuals that are willing to share in their knowledge and experience. The different teams all work well together for the good of the products and company. The company provides great benefits including PTO, health, and 401k.

    Cons

The competition is tough in this area and a lot of the planning and budget decisions are based on high success rates. While the products are quite capable, not every contract can be won and there isn't much room for failure to produce revenue.

I worked at Overture Networks full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Overture Networks is a consolidation of several companies, of which I only worked for Overture Networks. During my stay I enjoyed direct management, executive management and the work. Work was challenging but never over exhausted. The office culture was great. I wish Overture all the best for the future.

    Cons

Compensation was the going rate, with cost of living raises. Training was never an issue. HSA was a great perk, especially if your healthy and I suppose even if you're not. I really didn't have allot of con's other then BoD and executive seemed out of touch with the market space and direction.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Close unprofitable lines and get back to profitability.
