I worked at Nestlé full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

generally good work/life balance, nice culture, generally decent pay and benefits, global company with large brands

    Cons

mediocre/poor people stay and end up getting promoted; extremely slow in making decisions; lack of innovation (tends to launch me-too products), lack of support for brands, many people in senior positions do not deserve the salaries they are making

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

promote people based on their work and skill set, not who they know; invest more in marketing

I worked at Nestlé as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

Having employing pricing on every Nestle product. You have to go to one of their Nestle stores to buy stuff. All the operators there are very friendly and helpful. You will have a great time working with them!

    Cons

Pay is really low, and you are on salary. So it means they can make you work tons of overtime without paying you. The management team there is very disorganized. You are always pressured to perform.

I worked at Nestlé as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

The atmosphere is amazing, the selected team is extremely friendly, helpful and smart. Different departments are working very closely together and you get to meet and know everyone within your market. Also, extremely good work/life balance.

    Cons

Since I was working in a very small branch of Nestle (the Baltics), the tasks were too little challenging and there was very little growth opportunities within the company.

I worked at Nestlé part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Nestle offers great benefits and there is always enough work to go in for overtime. They also give out bonus's to those who reached or exceeded the efficiency requirements.

    Cons

Sometimes it may seem like you have no life because of the amount of mandatory hours they make you work.

    - Excellent work life balance
    - Lack of mentoring for junior postions
    - Pay doesn't compare to its american

I worked at Nestlé full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Great brands. Great company but after of years been a great leader on frozen division. They just letting the competition to take over. Stouffer's red boxes almost reduce to minimum due to new plannograms , i am not surprise that the DC centers will have issues.

    Cons

Old management , old ideas, 101 train or 102 train very poor .
    Rw3 system great tool.
NROC got not a clear direction because the old management refuse to accept new methods.
Most of the retail managers are just. The " yes " person .
Nestle management not getting the real bone of the sales .
Everyone goes with the flow . " Dont hear don't speak Don't see evil " otherwise your PDG review won't gonna look good .
Nestle management on Glendale Ca ... remind me like the USA congress . Everybody knows everyone. Basically Paul buckle and new CEO Paul Grimwood are against the old politics. It will take a major move like Mike Mitchell did several years ago.
Last year nestle sales went up 12 % , but sooner or later investors gonna start asking questions , the bubble is gonna explode on their face.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Back on year 1990 with only 125 sales professional persons reach the sales goals.
Now year 2014 with almost 525 sales sales professional in the field are only breaking even on sales goals .
