Pros – Excellent career/growth opportunity.
Great work-life balance.
Excellent health and wellness center.
Excellent personal development opportunities.
Diverse culture and strong sense of belonging.
Beautiful campus and great cafeteria.
It is an Agricultural technology company focused on the sustainability of our food security.

Cons – The cons are few and far between, so I would have to say that the largest negative is that Monsanto and its technology is often misunderstood by the public which leads to some uncomfortable conversations outside of work.

Pros – Great People, Great Pay, leadership provides empowerment and generally backs the decisions made by their people

Cons – It's tough to move up the chain if you aren't "one of the boys"

Pros – Salary, work-life balance, freedom to pursue ideas if they are inline with business goals.

Cons – Science doesn't drive decisions. No transfer or long-term knowledge gain. Projects are tried and if they don't work right away, they are dropped.

Advice to Senior Management – Reward science more and process improvements less.

Pros – Appears to be flat... Leads the market in the field

Cons – Too much politics, says it is transparent but not so. Forget career development

Pros – Benefits are excellent. There are some great folks and great scientists there. Most jobs allow flexibility in schedule, although working overtime is an implied mandation.

Cons – Lots of people fighting to get there way to the top and backstabbing folks in the process. Terrible managers! Known several great employees to lose their jobs after becoming injuried as a result of being overworked. The percentage of people going out on disability and then ending up laid off or terminated is extrememely high! HR is absolutely awful.

Advice to Senior Management – Don't put people in management positions just because of degrees or because they are great scientists; management takes people skills! Stand behind you employees when they get injured.

Pros – nice company, great benefit, stable, environment, good work/life balance

Cons – some politics, not easy to do the right thing sometime, depends on your manager, growth could be hard if you don't have a good manager

Advice to Senior Management – notice potential of the employee, give enough growth/development room, ease the team culture, motive employees, give a salary/bonus rise every once a while
