ProsThey pay employees to fly to corporate for 2 days. It's the last perk or thanks you'll get at Molina.

ConsYou will never see the bonus THEY SAY you are eligible to get. They only listen to family, friends & investors.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop asking employees to contribute to various MOLINA FUNDS that do nothing more than line the pocket of the MOLINAS. They had the nerve to ask employees to donate their bonuses to LOBBIEST for Molina. For example I make more than $70k. With my YEARS of service my bonus was LESS than $100 for my YEARS of service. BONUSES ARE 1.75% NOT the 5 - 12% promised. THIS WAS BEFORE TAXES AND AFTER THE STUPID MATH FORMULA THEY GIVE YOU TO FIGURE OUT WHY NO ONE IN THE DEPARTMENT DIDNT GET THE AMOUNT STATED.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

I have been working at Molina Healthcare full-time for less than a year

ProsAs an intern there is a ton of exposure to leaders in the company. It is also easy to switch to and learn about departments. Pay is great for an intern as well.

ConsYou must drink their cool aid. Also, since it is experiencing tremendous growth, there are a ton of processes that have not caught up to the times.

Advice to Senior ManagementImprove the internal information processes.

ProsGreat co-workers. Collaborative team of field staff we work together and use each other as resources to get the job done. Great members. Enjoy helping the disadvantaged. Flexible schedule.

ConsMolina hires Middle and Senior management that have no experience and no idea how to perform their essential job functions. They hired a middle manager then asked her to leave or be fired. She was gone for about 10 months and then they hired her back. She had been fired by a former MCO how can we as employees know this and yet HR either doesn't t know or does not care that she is incompetent. This is widely understood and known by the MINIONS

Advice to Senior ManagementWake up and listen to the staff in the trenches. We understand how to resolve problems and apply strategic approaches however we are not consulted in matters that effect patient care and our work loads. Every soloution is a knee jerk reaction to the State coming in and giving them citations.

Could be a better place

ProsThey have a great potential to grow under Obama care.

ConsCorruption at all levels especially in IT department. The top management all know each other and were transplants from another organization. They take bribes from vendors who take them to extravagant events in return for favors. Shame for a company that provides Medicaid for under privileged folks who live under the poverty line and is funded by the State.

Advice to Senior ManagementAdvice to the owners - this is your company, take charge and clean it up.
