I have been working at Ministry of Interior Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a contractor for more than 8 years
Pros – Government job, influential work place.
Cons – Too much of differentiation between locals and expatriates, care less for the welfare of offshore workers, have to pay for the renewal of Iqama and for re-entry which is free in Ministry of Health, too eager to deduct incentives but too late to give incentives. Local take high salary but dont work, all their work is covered by foreign workers or forced to cover it up. All the hazard benefits given to locals who sit home and draw their salaries.
Advice to Senior Management – Treat all the employees at par with locals, give all the benefits and perks when its due.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
