    Pros

    Forming relationships with people you work with is great. It's really the best part. Management can be fair, but they are really only concerned about their own world. Not a "professional" environment.

    Cons

    Your success depends upon the location you're in. Being in this OC store- I just needed to express my personal feeling about this job. I know the person who had this position and the management didn't follow through on taking care of business and put her through hell. She was an extremely bright, dedicated and hard worker. They didn't appreciate or treat her well at all. The 2 kitchen designers in the dept. do whatever they want and have management wrapped around their finger. These 2 girls must have some info that could hurt management since it doesn't make any sense as to why they are still there! It's amazing this former Specialist lasted as long as she did! The back office is an on-going soap opera and the assistant managers are only taking care of what's pushed in front of them. Also know that management allows things to be done under the table to look good when the corporate group comes in. Management has their "favorites", and you can have a good day if you're one of them. The environment gears to the lowest common denominator. If you're educated, stay away. Only those need to apply that have a high school education!

    Inconsistent hours, favoritism, lack of communication, old technology, no janitor, rude customers

    Move up from within, pressure corporate to update technology rather than waste it on things nobody really wants (mylowes)
