Current Employee – been working at Liz Claiborne

ProsThis company offers great opportunities for creativity wether in desgin, marketing or others. We have fabulous people working here and some recent additions have brought meaningful improvements.

ConsA bit disorganized. Policies are not always broadcasted and are not that easy to find so not all employees are aware. Members of management do not all walk the talk.

Advice to Senior ManagementCommunicate, communicate, communicate. When you think everybody knows, think otherwise because your messages are not understood by all.

Former Employee – worked at Liz Claiborne

ProsIt is fun, the upper management is great, HR is wonderful, the stores are beautiful and the clothing quality is very good. Customers are women with discerning taste and like to be loyal.

Consyou are working with women of all ages and there is sometimes drama

Advice to Senior Managementgreat job, try to incorporate more choices within clothing lines, more co-ordinating pieces, sometimes nothing really goes with anything else in the same collection, and it is hard to sell "outfits" or extra co-ordinating options to customers. if there were more "nuetral" pieces upselling would be easier and sales would be higher.
