    Pros

Good pay and supportive atmosphere. Management really cared about your success and did what it took to help you succeed. Training was great and ongoing and you really got to make a special connection with your clients.

    Cons

There is always a few bumps in the road when companies are experiencing rapid growth.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Really Listen to local offices and what they have to say. They live and work in the area and know what works.

    Pros

Bonding with other employees who are miserable because of management

    Cons

The assistant manager is unqualified and a puppet for the center manager. The center manager is "overseeing" multiple centers and causing chaos and destruction to all of them. She is a egotistical, narcissistic, jealous tyrant. She tries to make an enemy out of all her employees for no reason. She likes to cause in-house drama and thrives off of confusion.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your employees. Don't make them feel like they will be retaliated against if they speak out against things that are unethical and wrong. Get rid of center managers that try to control their employees with fear instead of respect.

Not what it used to be

    Pros

    There aren't many pros anymore...

    Cons

It USED to be a great company to work for, but they have been a sinking ship for the past year. There have been 3 CEOs in the past year and endless restructuring of senior management. Nobody knows what's going on or who to report to because it changes weekly. This is not a secure company to work for.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop making impulsive decisions. Talk to those who are working in the field because they know what the clients want better than anyone in corporate.

Horrible please don't make the same mistake.

    Pros

    Flexible hours. Mostly nice staff

    Cons

Do not waste your time with training for this company. It seems great they phone interview then you go into the center for your interview with a person you are given a tour of this beautiful office, then next thing you know your hired with promises of great hours and awesome work environment decent pay and great benefits. Then you start working and no one really knows what your doing there other than being used for your license. Meanwhile the management is brand new. The hours are sketchy, the off time is ridiculous, they ask you to go to other locations, the company is shady and the management is scary and NO one has your back ... they can hire you then fire you with no justification, it's not worth the risk

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you can't prove it it didn't happen. Take some business ethics classes. Value your employees for what their worth. every employee you mistreat is another bad review.

    SINKING SHIP

    Pros

No Pros available at this time, seems to barely be maintaining doors open. Constant changes and turnover of management and employees.

    Cons

Unstable on every level including their financial status. Many price increases and company expect the sales team to place value on their beliefs not what their overall service delivers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Staying competitive in the market is the most important value you can give potential clients along with the service provided. Too many unexpected changes in the last year from pay cuts to schedule changes and diminished work hours. Advertising brings in mostly unqualified traffic that are told by appointment setters it's a free consultation, they don't have to buy anything.

    Pros

The company focused on training their consultants with EPIC (Every Patient Interaction Counts). Giving every patient that walks through their doors the best experience in a manner that was inline with how each individual patient 'wanted' to be treated (based on a questionnaire given to patients upon arrival). The culture was friendly and an enjoyable place to work.

    Cons

There were many disconnects with communication from home office in Troy to the field. Not everyone at the home office was in touch with what was going on in the various offices throughout the country; they were more focused on the 'numbers' than what driving factors were behind variances. They became the nation's largest facial plastic surgery company, but did too much expansion rather than focusing on innovation to keep ahead of the curve. Thus leading to a major downsizing and restructuring.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to what the people in the centers input and ideas are. This was something that appeared on the outside to happen, but there was no follow-through.

    Former Employee - Surgicall Tech

    Pros

    Co-workers were generally nice people.

    Cons

Management only cared that shifts were covered and did care that some employees were there 50-70 hrs per week staying late up to 11pm and back by 6am, everyday except sunday, week after week, month after month. The "schedual" was NEVER adhered to thus one could never really make plans. Complaints were were handled as "whinning" rather than legitimate and creating hardships for people.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat employees better and you get better employees. Take into account the entire employees work ethic and skills when judging mistakes. Loyalty, realiability, excellent work ethic need to be concidered when an error is made, everyone is human and make mistakes.
