    Cons

Before the new CEO and mgmt team, for sometime focus was lost but now very energized since the change at top.

I have been working at Juniper Networks

    Pros

strong products, technical innovation, interesting work, good compensation, strong leadership, good benefits,

    Cons

not good at dealing with small remote sites, most opportunities are at head office and larger development sites, inflexible human resources policies

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

continue to make it easier for managers to get their job done, too much overhead and too many processes, and cut loose directors and VPs screw up if there isn't another job for them

    I worked at Juniper Networks

    Pros

Juniper is one of the best place to work with great compensation package. Especially the ESOP option was excellent. It is a high growth company with a rigorous work ethic.

    Cons

There is not much downside of working at Juniper Networks. The only con is that it is tough to shift from one product to another.. the inernal transfer between depts is tough.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The management needs to do better planning. Most of the decisions are taken by the top and sent to the other cadres. It would be better if the management get the inputs from the bottom employees before pushing for new intiatives.

I worked at Juniper Networks full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

I've worked at Juniper multiple times, in multiple positions (all were technical). Overall I can say that the company is very focused on technology and customer experience. The options to grow are tremendous and Juniper actively encourages employees to expand their knowledge.

    Cons

Travel policy is suboptimal (Glassdoor censors a bit). No business, not even on long-haul flights. Traffic in and out the Sunnyvale office is absolutely horrible. Food could be cheaper in the cafeteria.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice
