Current Employee – been working at Ixia full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – If you're lucky, you get to work with the latesc stuff in networking. Also, in my opinion, the company is doing great economically and you get a great feeling of accomplishment.
Cons – From time to time, we need to collaborate with teams from US and this might mean staying late.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Current Employee – been working at Ixia full-time for less than a year
Pros – Dynamic environment, with lots of people to learn stuff from. That is if one is willing to learn and improve his skills.
The rating system upon which, the managers are mainly evaluated based on the feedback provided by the ones they manage
Cons – Teams have a strong autonomy, so it kind of depends who your direct supervisor is. Some people can have a really hard time and be constantly under pressure if their manager is eager to prove himself.

Pros – - A good learning environment
- Most of the managers are OK
- People will generally help you
Cons – - To me it happened to have a stupid manager, fortunately she's not longer with the company
- Bug solving is the norm at Ixia, I personally think debugging skills are much more appreciated than the ability to right good code
Advice to Senior Management – - Be more serious when doing the employee evaluation, I noticed that some treat this as a burden and don't give it much attention, but for the employee it matters quite a lot.

decent benefits
nice facilities
Cons – very destructive work environment
permanent state of emergency
death march is the standard way of getting things done
artificially created internal competition destroys the spirit

Advice to Senior Management – Perhaps honesty is better long term strategy than trying to play people against each other. Competition should come from the outside, not inside.
