    Pros

    - Strong (and newer) management team with a good focus on growth and company values.
    - Innovative product management team that is bringing new products and solutions to market on a consistent basis.
    - Great brand awareness and market leader position for multiple product lines.

    Cons

    - Internal systems and processes are challenging to work with and new system roll-outs have been completed haphazardly.
    - Boston office moved to the burbs with an office park culture and environment that is very depressing.
    - Communication from corporate to the field teams isn't always timely or clear.

    Advice to Management

    - Focus on increasing shareholder value but innovating and capturing more revenue from your existing market segments.
    - Make sure to hire A-Players and provide them with the tools to be successful.

    Pros

In-house training. Standardized sales process, regional sales operations for complex deals.

    Cons

Hire and fire culture. Doesn't reward hard work, many good employees have left.

    Advice to Management

Be more open and allow managers to have reviews from their reports. Strive towards a truely American company where mutual respect is the way of life.

  6. Helpful (4)

Talent is being driven out. Investment in good employees sparse.

    Pros

    Youthful environment
Lots of intriguing promises being stated about growth

    Cons

Clear across the company that seemingly random clear outs of talent are part of hidden plan to secure a sale of company.

    Advice to Management

Stop double talk. Create a fair playing field across the company. This includes treatment of work force and checks and balances among ELT conduct. Eliminate the corruption. Listen to the employees and follow through to rectify issues.

    Pros

Flexible, decent pay, nice bonus. Benefits we meh...

    Cons

When they brought in a new CEO to stabilize the company he started bringing in his former Novell co-workers. They have since moved to Waltham right in the same building Novell was or is in. They started moving long term employees out to make room for folks at the C level who speak broken English and can't function. I was to get out when I did and feel they did me a favor.

    Advice to Management

Worry about the actual company and how you can keep things going. Stop developing new junk and wasting money on it. VIA was a joke. Stop tyring to get rid of folks who helped build things out and look at upper management.

    Pros

It's an exciting time to work for Intralinks-- double digit growth and a focus on building great, innovative products. We're in a brand new, contemporary office space, and there's great energy in the company, from the executive team on down. In general, I think the compensation is well above industry average-- In many ways, it feels like a very well-funded startup company, despite the fact that we're well established and a market leader. I think the best thing about Intralinks is the people-- we enjoy working together and have mutual respect for our abilities. It's a smart, empowered group of people.

    Cons

We're growing fast, so the days can often be long. That doesn't bother me so much, since I love what I do.
