    Pros

Lots of peers around the same age, interests. When starting out of college, everyone is joining at the same position and going through the same training and intro to work. You meet a lot of great people and learn a lot.

    Cons

Pay is lower than other consulting firms.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more direct and detailed about career progression.

I worked at Hitachi Consulting full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Highly skilled, collaborative colleagues
Good relationships with most major vendors

    Cons

The top leadership's desire to become a $B company through rapid acquisition had a negative effect on morale

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Spend less time buying unknown talent, and more time working to retain the quality people that have already made Hitachi Consulting their home.

    Pros

    - Good benefits and health care.

    - competitive salary for people hired out of college

    Cons

    - Annual review process was very tedious and limited to once a year, regardless of when you started.

    - No bonuses for Consultants, only at the Sr. Consultant level and above.
    - idea of consulting core is good, but implementation leaves something to be desired
