    Assistant Manager

Assistant Manager (Current Employee) Edmonton, AB

ProsFlexible hours, great work team, amazing environment, and mind blowing discounts!

ConsLittle low on the pay, huge selling expectations, hours for associates depend on the amount of selling they do.

Advice to Senior ManagementAlways be straight up and honest about whatever it is you're doing; don't try to take shortcuts because you will be caught. & always talk to HR or you store manager if there is anything out of the normal going on.

Sauron, Satan and Hitler would not last a day in this horrible institution.

Desk and Stock (Current Employee) Vaughan, ON

    Prosemployee discount, long lunch break

Consexploitative work culture, paying very little and expecting slave labor, pressure to wear GUESS clothing and refusing to pay for it when demanded for special events, poor training, guess is literally stitches trying trying to be prada in terms of the quality of their clothing, long mandatory hours of work, incompetent management

Advice to Senior Managementmake better clothes, pay your employees more for the work you expect, train better, go back to the 80's when you were relevant and there weren't better fashion choices out there like today

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Not enough pay for what they want you to do.

Assistant Manager (Former Employee) Calgary, AB

ProsSometimes fun, Discounts are awesome, product is nice.

Consdrama with co-workers, stressful because of sales goals, managers are rude and treat you like you are incapable of doing anything, getting time-off is near impossible.

Advice to Senior Managementinstead of implementing the 90 day rule, I think you should work with your employees to help them sell rather than threatening them with a ridiculous "90 day rule" plan.

    Terrible

Retail Sales Associate (Current Employee) Burnaby, BC

ProsStore discounts, overall the staff was friendly. Some managers were really good. Some were not.

ConsManagement bias, unorthodox ways. Store had shrinkage 80 percent from internal staff 20 percent from external theft. Yet management only cared about the 20 percent. Very suspicious.

Advice to Senior ManagementManagement is the problem. Too much witch-hunting.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
