Not sure what the future hold for company

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsGreat people work for this company. Small company so advancement is available but there is a ceiling if you are not french.

ConsLots of finger pointing, everyone for themselves mentality, lack of communication from management, it is not uncommon to have to work late or drop a project because of a last minute "urgent" task.

    Don't go there

    Operations (Former Employee)

ProsCentral location, great transport links, close to other places you can go for interviews so you get out if there fast, that's about it.

ConsUnfriendly working atmosphere, working hours can change at last minute, horrendous management and stuck up staff that have been there for too long.

Advice to Senior ManagementYour Hr department really should be dealing with the managers that keep hitting on women at work, this really is a nuisance and embarrassing to watch. Especially when they're married (the managers).
And then there's the people from accounts/Hr that are so out of order with their racist and snide remarks/jokes that I'm surprised no one has taken you to court yet.

Replace the old staff and management, they don't care anymore and are biased to people they know and are friends with. Many great colleagues have left because of them.

There is no scope for growth or any other moves within the company, as the management judge you for who you know, what you do, or who you sleep with. It's a total joke!

Glad to be gone from such a messy, backstabbing and close minded place.

the company can improve on its HR processes

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

Prosits brand though one that's not quite known in the Americas. It provides many solutions for broadcasters who are big names.

Consconfused on the company's direction. opportunity for the company to do extraordinary out of the box stuff but yet to see it.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe company does not really have a true 'creative' center. There are many senior staff who are comfortable to remain there and bide their time.

    Globecast

    Operations (Former Employee)

ProsCompany has worldwide offices with a large amount of company assets.

ConsLack of leadership in many cases. The drive out the better people that are trying to make to work environment better. Bad methods, broken equipment and lack of investment in day to day infrastructure.

Advice to Senior ManagementClean house and start from scratch. Too many of the wrong people in leadership roles.

GlobeCast: what is going to happen tonight?

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Culver City, CA (US)

ProsRoom for growth, smaller company but definitely a good opportunity to "stand out" in such a small industry (satcom). Many changes have been made over the years but the company is still not at a "good place" as far as financial stability is concerned. The company really needs to focus on the market and beef up the ever-shrinking sales department for more numbers. Far too much time and money is spend in marketing and not enough in sales.

ConsCompany can change ways almost overnight. Management decisions not always articulated and done on the fly. Can come of as "unstable" when there is obvious potential for future growth

    Advice to Senior ManagementCommunication!

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
