    Pros

Very friendly co-workers, nice atmosphere, work - life balance, appreciation of what you do, helping people with life saving therapies

    Cons

difficult to get promoted, many opening filled in from outside vs. developing internal candidates, arbitrary 1-1.5% yearly salary increase limit

    Advice to Management

If you talk that people are your biggest asset - start acting like this is the case and make sure you develop talent. The low arbitrary salary increase limit may make the compensation not competitive.

    Pros

Job variety between tasks. Great management and co-worker team. Training and internal programs are a strong focus within the department. Continuing education opportunities were encouraged and offered through-out the year.

    Cons

Unstable work environment with periods of light works vs heavy work loads and tight deadlines.
Poor communication of upper management regarding direction and focus of company goals.
Budget cuts sought within programs already cut while bloated programs remain untouched - wasteful resource systems kept in place or initiated where economical options exist.

    Advice to Management

Continue with the open communication and actively advocate for the departments you represent. Always evaluate the bottom dollar and critically evaluate where resources are being allocated and weigh the appropriate need.

    Pros

Took good care of employees. Had a range of benefits in place to reward those who went beyond what was expected of them.
Also had some additional features such as dry cleaners visiting the premises to aid employees with tasks normally conducted outside of work.
    Very friendly and welcoming staff.
    High quality food in canteen.
Flexi-time available to all staff so you could get out early some days

    Cons

Can't really think of anything negative off the top of my head. There's a reason it was voted the #1 Great place to work in Ireland for 2015

    Pros

Great Benefits, Nice people, Great CEO, Easy hire process, Great work environment

    Cons

Corporate Policies, Not flexible with salary, long hours required, too much time away from my family

    Advice to Management

I would say to keep striving to keep everyone happy. It's a great company and there's a lot of potential there but they need to keep the employee in mind.

    Pros

    Cons

The influence of the pharma mindset will kill this business

    Advice to Management

Be more openminded when it comes to Genzyme. This is not Pharma. It cannot be run like pharma!!!

    Pros

    Collaboration with multiple groups
    Discovery aspect keeps things fresh
Great people to work with and for

    Cons

    Salary is not competitive
New Sanofi protocols are exhausting. Have to learn a new program every year to purchase items, fill out timesheets, or complete trainings

    Advice to Management

Be competitive with salary and people will want to stay. You have lost the " I feel secure and will except the lower salary" benefit since Sanofi took over. If I am going to worry about losing my job I will get paid a heck of a lot more for the aggravation
