Current Employee – been working at Forever 21 part-time for less than a year
Pros – You meet and spend time with amazing people.
The work isn't difficult.
Not hard to get the job.
You get to see lots of cute clothes.
Cons – Hours are unsteady.
Work is tedious.
Customers are often rude and leave messes everywhere.
Employee discount is 10%, doesn't even cover the tax.
Advice to Senior Management – Invest more into your employees! The turnover rate is ridiculous because employees don't feel like they matter. Have higher standards of hiring and actually invest in proper training for employees. That way, employees won't come and go, and customer service will improve greatly.

Former Employee – worked at Forever 21 full-time for more than a year
Pros – Fashion forward and useful management tools
Cons – For Canada, H.O. lacked support and structure.
Advice to Senior Management – Listen to your management members. If I shared a concern it's because I cared. I am passionate about the work I do considering I spent over 50 hours a week not because I simply had to but because I wanted to see results.

Current Employee – been working at Forever 21 part-time for more than a year
Pros – I can't even think of one thing.
Cons – This company is corruption at it's finest. No one cares about what you have to say. If there's a problem, you better keep your mouth shut or else you'll be subject to harrasment and threats by management and head office. We are constantly told that we are not doing a good enough job even when we are working our hardest. Forever21 hires young girls because they are hoping that these girls don't know their rights and they will believe any crap the managers feed them.
Also, the hours are complete crap. They say that they can't give us hours because we are not making enough money yet we make the budgets every single day. Only 4 people a night to close a 2 floor store. Ridiculous ridiculous company.
I hope the CEO is ashamed of himself.
Advice to Senior Management – lol not even going to say anything because speaking to management gets you nowhere.

Current Employee – been working at Forever 21 full-time
Pros – - the other sales associates are great and you meet some fun people
- relaxed dress code - just no big logos or anything trashy
- easy work for the most part
- managers were all nice and great people
- first dibs on new clothes and you could nab products on your break
- flexible hours and it was easy to trade shifts or get days off
Cons – - pathetic 10% discount that anyone with the SPC card could get
- mundane, boring work that consisted of sales associates walking around blindly pretending to be doing something when days were slow (which is very often)
- management, though brilliant and very nice people, was haphazard and seemed rather confused though this is probably mostly due to constraints from upper management.
- very counterproductive upper management : new store opening but not allowed to advertise that fact anywhere so no one knew that there was a new store. Worst of all, this is supposed to be the FLAGSHIP store in Vancouver.
- ridiculous sales goals set by HQ: had our hours slashed if they weren't reached and it wasn't unusual to see ONE girl manning the entire upper floor and ONE girl at the bottom floor. Management then wondered why there were no customers when it was obvious that there was no one to promote sales and there was no advertising of the store done.
- clothes were moved around on what seemed to be a daily basis, which made it near impossible to find where gobacks belonged. You could work one day, memorise the entire floor and it'd be different the next day, resulting in customer dissatisfaction when no one can locate a particular item.
- horrible, repetitive music playlist
Advice to Senior Management – Definitely need to get rid of inefficient, useless policies: if a new flagship store opens, obviously do some advertising and allow for the flagship store to promote itself. Lower management though, keep on being awesome :D

Former Employee – worked at Forever 21 part-time for more than a year
Pros – -If you have some good friendships with coworkers, the shifts go buy fast
-You get the first pick on the new clothes received in store
Cons – -Cheap 10% discount (it really shows how much they value their employees)
-Management pinks favorites
-Problems that you address to management are never taken seriously and are never fixed.
Advice to Senior Management – -Stop favoritism
-Get off your high horse, you guys are drop outs in your 20's and 30's don't act like if you've accomplished

Former Employee – worked at Forever 21 full-time for more than a year
Pros – -you have alot of room to be creative
-The product can be quite nice and at a lower price point
-Opportunities to travel and to move up :)
Cons – -The company itself is quite unorganized
-Sudden changes happen a lot- to everything
- Trying to manage product levels on the floor vs. stockroom can be very challenging
Advice to Senior Management – -More efficient planning please- and thinking logically when executing planning as it pertains to each store individually
