Current Employee – been working at Flextronics full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Tremendous amount of opportunity to learn about customer needs, large scale operation and business process discipline. There is no shortage of excitement because there is always something new that's happening.
Cons – Over the years the company has became overly bureaucratic, self centered and unwilling or unable to implement real changes. Despite the increases in internal communication, the top executives are increasingly more distanced from the real world.
Advice to Senior Management – 1) The company needs to quickly evolve beyond its eroding EMS business model. 2) Need to learn how to navigate in the unfamiliar emerging markets. 3) Culture is what we practice, not something we say.

Current Employee – been working at Flextronics full-time for more than a year
Pros – Salary is decent for what you do, but recent changes put your daily tasks on par with a COR sales store and the pay is not cimparable.
Cons – Inability to weed out underperforming team members.
Advice to Senior Management – Dont worry so much about the HR side of letting underperforms go. Keeping them only hinders the moral of the store.

Current Employee – been working at Flextronics full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – - great local expert team and coworkers whom to work with, both in professional and personal features.
- relative big enough freedom in working tools, to realize your imaginations and if it is not tooo innovative then you will find Sr mmt support on it.
Cons – - environment is not ideal for family and private life.
- compensation package depends in 120% of corporate and own needs. Means, if you are very required can gain extra more. But if you need the job, benefit is highly under the exp. avrg.
- local Sr management
- not a human-in-the-focus company. Employers are tools on progress and to achieve goals.
- no focus on coworkers professional development.
Advice to Senior Management – More focus to the human resources, due to this factor could help to achieve the goals.

Current Employee – been working at Flextronics full-time for less than a year
Pros – Peer level people are always willing to help
Cons – Absolutely horrifying, arrogant and pathetic management. They will "kill" you just to save a few nickels. Do not take this job, it is a nightmare. If you take it expect to work 24 hrs a day. You will report to one guy and you will take contradictory instructions from another guy. I am surprised that this "huge" company even manages to make 1% profit!
Advice to Senior Management – Some VP's in this company think they are God and everybody else is their "slaves" Most of the higher ups in this company lack people skills. Almost everyone in this company is either a VP or a Director. There is hardly ANY middle management.
