I have been working at Ericsson-Worldwide full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Good work-life balance, nice working environment, open culture, encourage innovation, constantly improve itself to create a better and more efficient working environment, respect people

    Cons

The salary is not very competitive, and there is no big difference between good performer and poor performer. The company is not bold enough and fast enough to enter into new business area.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    1. Increase the salary gap between good performer and poor performer.
    2. Enter into new business area early and move fast.

I worked at Ericsson-Worldwide as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

I was working as a software developer intern:
    - They allow flexibility for work-life balance. I had a two hour window when I could choose to come in (and leave 8 hours later). In the Montreal R&D center they have a lot of activities that employees can do to relax (yoga, massages, gym) and stimulating clubs that engineers form. Really a great place to work.
    - I was given a lot of guidance and mentorship from the get go which was fantastic. I was trusted with projects by my team with the mentality that in the worst case, I'd learn a thing or two from doing it. I thought that was great.

    Cons

    - I am not sure how good upward mobility is.

They hire people from outside Canada rather than local engineerings

    Advice to ManagementAdvice
