Former Employee – worked at Enterprise Rent-A-Car as an intern for less than a year
Pros – They had a great corporate culture, a great training program. It was a fun work environment, constantly changing environment, with tons of opportunities to grow and learn new skills every day. Also, you got to drive different kinds of cars daily.
Cons – The hours were long, and it got tiring and difficult to maintain a work-life balance. The pay was also not great, but at least you were paid for the hours you worked.
Advice to Senior Management – Maybe increase the pay rate abit more, or let the employees work morning/afternoon shifts a few times per week.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Current Employee – been working at Enterprise Rent-A-Car full-time
Pros – Enterprise not only allows employees to grow and develop at an accelerated pace but also demonstrate strong customer service ability. By forcing employees to provide excellent service and post solid scores all around in order to be eligible for promotion.
Cons – While Enterprise does provide a strong opportunity for career development and growth the long hours and sometimes biased views of upper management can affect the overall outlook the company provides.
Advice to Senior Management – sometimes numbers aren't always a true sample of a persons qualifications. An employee with a positive mindset and drive may be a better option than a great salesperson who is only looking for a short term job.

Former Employee – worked at Enterprise Rent-A-Car full-time
Pros – Company Car, Commission but you have to work for it, Vacation Time
Cons – No movement availability; Employees look around how many people do you see move past the manager position; Over worked, Overworked, Overworked;
Advice to Senior Management – Area Managers; Group Managers; and GM's practice what you preach go work in an office for a week or even a full day. I guarantee that most would fizzle out after a week b/c the job has changed so much since they have been in an office. You have lost touch with your employees.

Current Employee – been working at Enterprise Rent-A-Car full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – got to drive brand new vehicles, fun interactions with customers and management, Overall a job you will never be bored at...because you are too busy to think.
Cons – they dangle the golden carrot over everyones head although upper management knows certain employees have no chance at moving up in the company. Also, they work you as hard as they possibly can. expect to work saturday and some sundays. Even though the branch is closed a lot of management is "expected" to come in and clean cars. ZERO work life balance.
Advice to Senior Management – not worth my time...

Former Employee – worked at Enterprise Rent-A-Car full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – - You meet so many different people in different areas of the industry along with all kinds of customers, its an awesome learning experience for life and your career.
-You learn in any position of the company the responsibilities and keys to running a business successfully.
-You work hard especially in the retail side and the pay isn't that bad but you put in a lot of hours
-You can grow in the job and company very fast but its not always that easy. Hard work is hard work.
Cons – - Depending on management and managers you can either feel really relaxed and enjoy your job or you can feel the pressures of hierarchy.
-Like any job especially in the retail side, growth in your position and in the company is dependent on who you know.
Advice to Senior Management – -Always remember a company is built on its customers and employees. We treated our customers the best in the industry but sometimes we miss to appreciate how much are employees put in.

Former Employee – worked at Enterprise Rent-A-Car full-time for less than a year
Pros – No pros at all don't do it. This job " career" will give nothing to you. They will take all they can and then take some more. Mc D's is a good place to work after working here.
Cons – Really don't do it. It is the worst job you will ever have!!!!!! Long hours no pay nothing good will come of this. I got no time for any kind of a life and all for $14/hour. So glad that I went to University to work at Enterprise. The managers are out to lunch to think that this is a place to work, just because they get you drunk at the end of the month. I hope you like beer and wine because that is all they spring for. Oh and no Christmas party for working 60+ hours a week, But the owner reported something like 4 bil in rev no big deal. LOL get out and stay out. Enterprise can get bent.
Advice to Senior Management – Ha what management... Oh the kids that say they are Management, they need to shake their heads and understand they will soon be let go.

Pros – Working at enterprise will bring you little to no reward while working there. I am now a recruiter and the only good thing is when I see that you worked there I know you can work hard. There is no benefit at all to working at enterprise. They will work you to the bone and then when you are not a use to then they will toss you out back.
Cons – Everything, you will have no employees. You will be a work from 5AM till about 8PM everyday with NO overtime. You get yelled at all day long because you promise things to customers that cannot be achieved. It is so bad I have personally seen people develop mental illness working at enterprise.
Advice to Senior Management – GET OUT NOW!!!!
