I have been working at hibu full-time (less than an year)

Pros

I was in sales and Self Employed for the past 15 years, I have been with hibu now for a year. When I was self employed, if I did not work I did not get paid. I totally love this company, if you are a self starter and enjoy talking and helping small to mid size business's this is a perfect fit. They have a good base pay and great benefits, plus the commission structure is great, I made over 70k my first year and I was not even in the field untill the first part of March due to IST Training. My Goal this year is well over 6 figures.

Cons

They are Launching new products all the time which is not really a con but you need to stay on top of it and learn the products.

    Pros

Pleasant culture, relaxed atmosphere, commitment to open source technologies. Can be good technical job content if you're in the right place at the right time.

    Cons

Don't always make the most of their staff. Too many managers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Really look hard at staff and consider how you can make the most of them.

I worked at hibu full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

base pay very low, but commissions extremely highly
    flexible schedule

    Cons

Decent company to work for until you get hurt on the job and have to deal with workman's comp. YB is very corporate-minded and only cares about saving money and not the health of the employee. Since I have left the company, a lot has changed: the commission structure, management, the name of the company, etc. The outlook of the company doesn't look good. I would originally recommend this company bbut seeing how they handle their injured employees (I was in a major car accident while traveling for work) and the major changes that have occurred since I have left, I would definitely not recommend Yellowbook to anyone!
