Pros

Really and truly a great company. They put a lot into their employees as far as training.

Cons

As with any place you have bad leaders, but it seems that even they can make it up through the company.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Before promoting people talk to team members that person worked with. Just because they interview well or look good on paper doesn't mean they would be a good TL

    Pros

    They offer great benefits for their employees and it's a positive work environment!

    Cons

    They recently changed their job reviews and they are more discouraging than encouraging. It's much harder to get a good raise!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Focus more on what your Employees are doing and nurture that instead of putting telling them they aren't doing enough and need to keep trying harder.

    Pros

    Learn about healthy eating
    20% discount

    Cons

    Incompetent management at all levels (regional, store, and dept)
    'Core values' are not supported,
    Very little training for new hires.....at a new store
    No opportunity for advancement
    Low pay
    Hire part-time employees before giving more hrs to those on team that want to of go full-time
    'Gain sharing' (bonus potential) is a bunch of smoke & mirrors......used as an excuse to keep labor down

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Listen to your employees! Hire competent leaders. Focus more on employee morale and retention as opposed to revenue. Stop giving canned responses when there are solutions presented to address issues i.e. 'We can't afford to schedule another employee because sales don't support it...' when there is only 1 person staffed and line of customers to door.
