I worked at Verizon Wireless full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Great Pay (for top producers), Great benefits, and overall good work environment (at most locations)

    Cons

Can be a lot of drama at some locations, management seems to get a bad case of what have you done for me this minute from time to time, and your work location is not taken into consideration for sales goal (a rural farm community had the same smartphone goal as a store on Wall St.)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Spend more time working on your team, bring back team builders and the sales will flow

I worked at Verizon Wireless full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Verizon has great benefits and you get to start using them on day one which most companies don't do. Verizon is always trying to be on the cutting edge of technology which is great because you get access to all of the latest gadgets,

    Cons

Micro management. They are on you about every little thing, you can be the top sales person in your location but they will always find something to get on you about. Not enough praise for the good work you do. Retail hours aren't fun no matter where you work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give everyone a chance to be promoted. Don't pre pick your candidate before even having interviews.
