Pros

insurance, the people are great, you get paid time off if youre sick, you get 2 weeks vacation the first year, bonuses, alot of activities and alot of comunity work as well. great company

Cons

rotating shifts are not fun. very stressful and can upset your metabolism

Advice to Management

get rid of the bad people who are talking bad about valero! they dont deserve to work here.

    Customer contact, mostly friendly customers and co-workers.

    Cons

    Cleaning bathrooms, and the pay is not great.

    I have been working at Valero Energy

    Pros

    Flexible schedule.
    Work close to home.
    No drug test for cashiers/customer service rep (don't know if this is a pro, for some it might be)

    Cons

    Bad pay. (10 cents more than min wage.)
    No set breaks ( eat whenever between customers)
    Uneducated and poorly trained store managers.
