Current Employee - Graduate Teaching Assistant  in  San Francisco, CA (US)
Current Employee - Graduate Teaching Assistant in San Francisco, CA (US)

Pros

Relevant position that helped bolster my understanding of subject material.

Cons

Low pay -> but this also allows for more TAs in the various departments which I am okay with.
Only allowed to work a maximum of 20 hours a week, which can be an issue depending who you TA for and your responsibilities.

    Pros

There was a good work space. The people were very professional and well mannered. The environment is very independent, meaning that everyone takes care and worries about their work.

    Cons

If you enjoying knowing the people that you work with, this isn't the right job for you. There is also very minimal team work.
