Pros

Excellent professional assistance. Case Managers take the time to communicate with you while you are in the program. Overall excellent support for a Veteran.

Cons

Try to expedite the turn around time from initial application to actual initial interview and placement in a vocational rehabilitation and/or employment program.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to hire excellent case workers.

    Pros

Great work-life balance. Core mission supports our Veterans.

    Cons

Many levels of mid management consisting of leadership unqualified to be leaders. Heavy on the good ole boy system directed at minorities. Very few actually care about work tasks, if it happens outside the 8 hour block, "not my job" attitude. Difficult to get promoted or awarded, esp with the current fiscal issues in the federal government. Lots of over paid positions for the amount of deliverables received, standards are extremely below what is required in the private sector.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Huge gap of talent and strategy direction between political appointee leadership and the civil service GS ranks. Leadership focused on compliance, not doing what's right.
