I worked at Turner Broadcasting as an intern (less than a year)

Pros

Everyone there was great to work with. It was a exciting, nurturing environment for an intern, but at the same time everything was very relaxed. Turner Studios was small so I got to meet a lot of people and learn how a studio works.

Cons

Most of the positions at Turner Studios are freelance positions, so it was hard to secure a job following the internship since I was not local and there were no positions open when I graduated.

I have been working at Turner Broadcasting full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

28 Days PTO after 7 years. Excellent insurance. Concerned about your family. Excellent diversity in the staff and suppliers.

    Cons

Very poor advancement opportunities. Hire major positions from outside instead of promoting inside. Managers care more about making their numbers than they care about those they supervise.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You keep doing surveys and say you listen to us, but nothing positive ever happens. You give the rank & file lots of lip service and very little action. Management under senior management is terrible.
