Pros

I was just an intern and I was paid very well. My coworkers were fun to work with, my boss was excellent to work for, and the onsite cafeteria and restaurants were amazing!

Cons

It's easy to get lost in the huge campus. The company is so large and acquiring other companies every week. You tend to lose track of what the company's goals are.

    Pros

co-workers were great to work with

    Cons

management only cares about bottom line, don't hire enough people to answer phones. way of keeping track of performance is out dated, doesn't really apply. asking for time off feels like it's frowned upon, even if spouse or someone important or you have to go to the hospital.

    Advice to Management

be human, think of your employees not just your rude customers.

    Pros

Provides a good balance for work/life. Large company with good benefits and stock purchase offering. City locations are nice. People are good to work wtih.

    Cons

Has had so many acquisitions over the years, the company is a 'patch-work' of processes. Management is a mess at every level. Employee morale low. Products are released with critical issues. No commitment to fixing infrastructure. Alot of employees holding onto the processes of their former company that Thomson acquired. Markets Division (Corporate Services) is a sinking ships. No strategic direction, just hanging around waiting to be sold off.

    Advice to Management

Dissolve the markets division and invest the money elsewhere. Or sell it, which I think they're doing. Morale is low. You need fresh thinkers in there.
