I have been working at The Nielsen Company full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Well known brand with a global footprint
    Lots of opportunity to learn
    Great company for early career

    Cons

Way too much work for a staff that is already stretched too thin
Goals are unrealistic as a result
Work/life balance is not modeled and not encouraged--you WILL be expected to check email/voicemail and work on vacation
Pay is below market, which is absurd for the world leader in market research

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay as much attention to your people as you do to your shareholders
