Not the friendlist hospital to work for.

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Providence, RI (US)

I have been working at The Miriam Hospital full-time for more than 10 years

Pros: salary is reasonable. Some employees are nice to work with.… Cons: Some Rude Managers. Work staff to death because short staffed and blame the budget for it. Allow to accrue only 1x your yearly ET. Policies… Advice to Senior Management: Treat your staff with utmost respect and communicate more efficiently. No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More

Pros: Benefits are okay but if you go out of lifespan service for a procedure or lab work… Cons: Specimen volume for this core lab is huge and continuing to grow yet staffing is always a problem. It is stressful because it's so busy.… Advice to Senior Management: Need more staffing for such a large volume. Schedule is not flexible and it's tremendously hard to get a weekend… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company… More
