I have been working at Sprint full-time (more than an year)

Pros

You can make quite a bit of money from commission. It's a clean environment. It can be fun. You generally have the tools you need to be successful. It is strictly Monday through Friday 8am-5pm.

Cons

There are strange dynamics within the local management team. Some of them are unskilled and untrained. Ignore them and keep at a safe distance, enjoy the time off and solid earning potential.

I have been working at Sprint full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Great benefits, great experience with different devices, many helpful programs for employees

    Cons

Constant change in expectations, no real opportunity for advancement, no raises, the different departments are not on the same page.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

To give associates better opportunity for advancement and to work on having the different department for customer service to have the same information.

I have been working at Sprint full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Flexible schedule, continued training on products and sales skills, reasonable commission plan, free wireless service with a friends and family option, a tuition reimbursement plan, benefits.

    Cons

Raises are imaginary, a large percentage of monthly commission is based on customer service surveys which are often difficult to manage, management positions are awarded rather than earned, hours are often cut, holiday hours are a nightmare, the customer base is some of the most unreliable and sometimes Sprint feels like it is only a small step above prepaid companies like Metro PCS and Cricket. It takes a lifetime to get promoted above a keyholder and keyholders have all of the responsibilities of a manager or assistant manager yet are not salary and still have the same quota as the sales only employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Invest money into your employees and your employee culture. Your employees are frustrated and that directly affects your customer base.
