if you are an engineer, they'll peddle you as a Sr. engineer, if a BA, they peddle you as a PM.

    Pros

Pay. That's it. Another Pro? Hard to determine.

    Cons

Like I said above, if you are an engineer, they will peddle you as a Sr. Engineer, and it you are any type of It guy, they'll peddle you as a PM. If you are on the bench for 6 weeks, you are history. These are plain facts. Avoid this company at all costs.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You guys should look at Cincinnati's turnover rate.

I worked at Sogeti full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Best part... they paid for most of my green card

    Cons

Shortly after they hired me in 2002, they decided to focus on Microsoft and testing... of which I am neither. If you can find a sales person that even has a clue what a mainframe is, then you might have a hope of getting a contract. If you don't, your job will be gone. They don't seem to understand that there are maximum contract lengths with a lot of clients lately, so no matter how good of a job you do at the client, you will not be renewed after a specific length of time. Add that to misconceptions of a non-compete clause then finding work in the same city is highly unlikely.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be realistic... don't pay your sales staff to sit in the office. If you make your consultants do the selling, tell them upfront and PAY THEM instead
